  1. Formulate a business plan. Before you venture into the corporate world, you will need a business plan.
  2. Target a market you would like to dominate. This is a vital step if you want your business to succeed. You can either choose a market you are passionate about, or go for the most profitable market. It's your choice.
  3. Do some "prospect research" by identifying what the demographics of the "ideal prospect" are in this market. You want to know the age, sex, likes, dislikes, pains and pleasures of the largest group of people within your "target market".
  4. Identify the things that this market is already looking to buy. Basically, you will want to research the needs and wants of this market. This can be done by observing people in forums, social media sites and other places where there is interaction going on between your market.
  5. Find affiliate networks where you can find companies that sell products and/or services that you know your market is already searching for.
  6. Create an "affiliate agreement" so that you can get paid for every sale or lead you generate for that company.
  7. Set up a blog or a website where you have a lot of valuable information regarding your "main topic" where you can display links and ads that send traffic to your Affiliate Partners so you can earn commissions.
